Pentagon Arrest: Man Taken Into Custody Near Department Of Defense Headquarters

ARLINGTON, Va. -- Authorities say one person has been taken into custody in connection with an investigation into a suspicious vehicle near the Pentagon.

Pentagon police spokesman Chris Layman says the person was taken into custody early Friday and that one or two other people may be involved. Layman says the car is in bushes near the Pentagon's north parking lot.

No other details about the investigation were immediately available.

The investigation has caused road closures near the Pentagon.

In another incident earlier this week, a motorist found with a gun and what appeared to be a suspicious package near the Pentagon was taken into custody.

Compal expected to ship 400,000-500,000 tablet PCs a month in 3Q11

Taiwan-based notebook maker Compal Electronics is shipping 200,000 tablet PCs a month in the second quarter of 2011, and is expected to hike monthly shipments to 400,000-500,000 units in the third quarter mainly due to increased orders from Lenovo and Acer, according to sources from the supply chain.

Compal president Ray Chen previously pointed out that the company is aiming to ship 3.8 million tablet PCs in 2011; however, shortages of upstream components, especially touch panels, may create uncertainty toward the actual volume.

Compal has been aggressive in the tablet PC market and its wholly-owned touch panel subsidiary is expected to start production in the third quarter. Compal has also made investments in upstream glass makers in order to satisfy upcoming tablet PC orders in the second half.

Casey Anthony Trial Update: Anthony got "Bella Vita" tattoo while Caylee was missing

(CBS/WKMG/AP) ORLANDO, Fla. - On Tuesday, after a forensic expert testified about heart-shaped stickers found in Casey Anthony's bedroom, a tattoo artist testified about a tattoo he gave Anthony on July 2, 2008 that reads "Bella Vita."

Bobby Williams, the tattoo artist, said he has known Anthony for seven years and that she called a few days ahead of time to make the appointment.

"Bella Vita" means "beautiful life" in Italian, reports CBS affiliate WKMG. Anthony got the tattoo while her daughter Caylee was still missing.

Williams testified that Anthony seemed happy when she came into the shop. Several of her friends have previously testified that her demeanor remained upbeat during the time that Caylee was missing before it was reported, the station reports.

Williams said Anthony told him Caylee was with her nanny, but when she made another appointment for July 19, 2008, she said Caylee would come with her for that. Caylee was last seen in mid-June and reported missing on July 15, 2008. Anthony was arrested on July 16.

The state said it will present the definition of "Bella Vita" to the jury on Wednesday and then rest its case early that day. The jury will then be excused for the day, then the defense will argue its motion for acquittal. The defense said it will be ready to begin presenting its case on Thursday.

Anthony, 25, has pleaded not guilty to first-degree murder in the death of her 2-year-old daughter and could face a death sentence if convicted. Prosecutors contend Casey Anthony suffocated Caylee with duct tape, while the defense says she drowned in her grandparents' pool.

Caylee's remains were found in a wooded area near the Anthony home in December 2008.

A lunar eclipse, not a solar eclipse, to occur tonight

Millions around the world are preparing to witness the first total lunar eclipse of 2011 Wednesday night. Viewers in parts of South America, Europe, Africa, Central Asia and Australia will be able to see what is to be the longest total lunar eclipse in nearly 11 years, according to experts.

“A total lunar eclipse happens when the moon, Earth and sun line up, and our home planet casts a vast shadow that engulfs the moon,” reported The Guardian. The moon will be completely covered in the Earth’s shadow for 100 minutes, making this the longest total lunar eclipse since July 2000.

The Guardian also reported that when the moon moves into the darkest part of the Earth’s shadow during the eclipse, it will turn a slate grey or brick red color. The color change will occur because light from the sun refracts as it passes through the atmosphere, which can illuminate the moon, according to AFP.

The Earth’s shadow will start to fall at 1724 GMT and will lift at 2300 GMT, and the total eclipse will run from 1922 to 2102 GMT, according to NASA’s veteran eclipse-watcher Fred Espenak, as reported by AFP.

The moon is expected to appear low in the sky, so clear conditions will be necessary for skywatchers to have a good view. The next total lunar eclipse will be on December 10.

A lunar eclipse, unlike a solar eclipse, can be watched safely with the naked eye. There will be partial solar eclipses on July 1 and November 25. The next total solar eclipse will take place on November 13, 2012, in a track running across North Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific and southerly South America, reported AFP.

Jeff Fisher reflects on time as Titans' head coach

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Former Tennessee Titans' head coach Jeff Fisher spoke with Nashville's News 2 Tuesday about his time spent with the organization and said he has no regrets.

The team announced in late January they would be parting ways with Fisher.

At the time he was NFL's longest-tenured head coach, having led the Titans for 16 years.

Tuesday, Fisher said he is at peace with the decision.

"[I] made a commitment to myself that if there was every a morning I didn't look forward to going to work and coaching I'd get out, and I had a morning like that and that was enough," Fisher said, adding, "The hardest part right now is you start to miss the players and the relationships."

Fisher, who continues to call Nashville home, said he is in great standing with the organization and has no regrets regarding choices that were made over the years.

"You move on, I have no regrets," he said.  "I had a great sense of peace when I made the decision. The hardest part was reminiscing as I was clearing out my office and then that last drive out of the facility was obviously an emotional one for me, but I had peace with everything."

As for the team's new coach, Mike Munchak, Fisher said it was an obvious choice.

"I knew Mike was qualified.  I felt like he was the best candidate for the job and I'm very, very glad they went that direction," he said.

"[Munchak] gets the up most respect from any player he has ever coached," Fisher continued.  "I think he's going to do a great job."

As for his future plans, Fisher said he has no plans of coaching at any level next year, but would eventually like to get back on the field.

"I think the situation has to be right.  I was fortunate over the years to be in the position to be surrounded by good people," he said, adding, "I have one thing left to accomplish as head coach, but again it has to be the right place the timing has to be right."

On Saturday, Fisher will host his annual celebrity softball tournament at Greer Stadium.
